One exception is the tennis team, where both schools team up, with an A team and a B team.

Canyon has a band, a jazz band, an orchestra, and multiple choirs( 6th grade choir, 6th grade boys choir, Treble Choir, Choral ensemble and jazz choir.[1]

Orchestra and band has a sixth grade group in the morning, and a 7/8 grade advanced group. There is a group for those to try out in, the jazz band.

Choir is more divided, with different groups. There is a sixth grade group, and the some sixth grade boys are split from the girls sometimes (at concerts and a day to practice). The treble choir is for 7th grade girls, and the 7th grade boys are to go with the 8th graders. There is a jazz choir also, for those who want to do it.

There are some activities during school hours also.
